SPAC CATA-Cationic Starch is mainly used as wet-end starch. As the cationic starches are positively charged, they are easily attracted by the negatively charged cellulose fiber and fillers. As a result, fiber-to-fiber and fiber-to-filler bond gets increased.
SPAC Cationic Starch improves the retention of fines and filler to increase paper sheet strength. SPAC CATA is cationic wet end starch derived from high quality tapioca / maize starch.
SPAC CATA has been developed to provide the paper industry with consistent, cost effective quality product with a unique feature. It is used in the manufacturing of papers / Boards to increase the internal properties as well as the retention of fillers and fines.

Drilling starch is non-ionic corn, tapioca based polymers for use in all water-based drilling, completion and stimulation fluids. Drilling starch is extensively used as an additive to prevent the seepage of soil filtrates into the wells in all types of water based drilling fluid systems by increasing the viscosity of the drilling mud and reducing the fluid loss by sealing the walls of the Borehole. High quality biocide added to resist against bacterial and enzymatic degradation.

The High Temperature Drilling starch is a polymer derived from the unmodified starch including amylopectin content. It has epichlorohydrin and has a viscosity which to reach to the maximum value. This starch has fermentation stability and can be hydroxypropylated. It gives enhanced high temperature fluid loss performance when works in combination with drilling fluids.
The High Temperature Drilling starch is also used in other applications. Offered with a high temperature tolerance, it is apt for drilling, work-over or completion fluid loss and works as a control additive appropriate for its utilization in high temperatures. It has optimal use in all water-based drilling, stimulation and completion fluids. This starch can meet all industrial standards.

SPAC TEX - Thin Boiling Starch has low and uniform viscosity, which does not change much with temperature unlike native starches which show wide variation in viscosity. Thin boiling starches are manufactured by acid addition to native starch slurry. Low viscosity enables its use in high concentrations without the viscosity getting too high. Its application in yarn weaving is indispensable.
